Enthusiasts for God give nice hints that open up opportunities to exchange beliefs, so you can help each other. A person who has never given a hint of interest is likely to regard your most gracious attempt to share your thinking as an attempt to “fix” them.

A very nice couple in our neighborhood never mentioned God and my wife and I never talked to them about Him. Twenty years later we are still feeling guilty for not trying.

God fixes us by working through others, including non- believers. Our neighbors silence influenced me to write this book. So, we have to use our best thinking, but honor the best thinking of others to keep the communications open.

A lot of people try to avoid conversations about religion. Some will appear to agree with you just go get you to stop. They stay that way until their life hits a speed bump. It could be a big success or failure, a car accident, sickness, finding or losing the right companion or job, or any near-death experience for them or a loved one.

While trying to find their way through those experiences they reassess their priorities, how they are going at life, and notice God. Those are the times when people reassess how they are going at life and often the “Right Time” for change. During that process there will be times when they don’t want distractions about adjusting to the thoughts of others.

Who knows what to say, when to start or how anyone will react. Some self-assured people can barge in and share the “Good News” and see what happens. Others who are timid or cautious, like me, would wait for an opening.

A small attractive book with big fonts isn’t an intrusion especially if it appears unannounced.
